Funding

Vivid Visions receives funding from the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV),

United Way, Office of The Attorney General Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), Department of Children and Families and from our local City and County. We are required to match funds so we also rely on local businesses, organizations and our community to help support our match.  Without the matching dollars, we would not be able to receive our grants.

Vivid Visions Inc. was founded by a group of concerned citizens of Suwannee County after a woman had been found on the side of the road beaten and left.

Our advocates offer assistance for completing injunctions, information and referrals for legal assistance, daycare through Early Learning Coalition, referrals for housing assistance and also Utilities. We also offer counseling one on one or group counseling.  Se Habla Espanol

Vivid Visions obtained land and a building which was immediately utilized for sheltering victims and their children. We became a Certified domestic violence Shelter in 2003.  We have been able to grow over the last  few years and we now have a 15 bed shelter, with  children's play room and also a playground.
